I've decided that I need to really focus on getting myself 'out there' in terms of my art. I'm going to be booking as many Christmas artisan sales as I can, so I'm trying to create inventory. These are just a few of the things that I've come up with in the last two days. The bigger one is a 2x4" mixed media on canvas, and the little guys are paintings on polymer clay that I intend to make into brooches!

I decided to do them as whimsical as I could. I needed a bit of an escape as I'm feeling a little weighed down by life at the moment! It helps to lighten my spirit Smiley

Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without.

Very pretty. I love using bright colors and whimsical themes to pick up my mood as well. I hope you do well at the art shows. Good luck

I think that the little brooches will be a big hit.  Smiley  I like them a lot.  They're probably not very heavy since they're so small, are they?

Artmomto5 - thank you. Amazing what a little colour can do to help lift spirits, huh?

kwality570 - thank you! Yes. Very very light. I'm thinking of using an epoxy resin to adhere the pin part. Does anyone know if that's the right avenue?

Thank you! I'm feeling pretty happy with the little polymer clay pieces. I went out and bought the epoxy for glueing on the brooch backings for some of them and then I bought some 1x4's to cut into little squares and mount others onto them. I think it will make it a cute way to display!

Merci! I think I'm with you on that, too. The little house makes me smile. I like the simplicity! Sometimes I drive myself crazy with perfection and detail so when I make things that allow me to break free of all that nonsense, it makes me happy!

I love them! I love how you put so much texture on them. Tiny art is the best!
