I just can't buy a bag big enough to hold all my clutter, so the only solution was to make one myself. This is an Ikea cotton which I've been hoarding for a long time, and it's great to have it in use at last. The lining is a soft yarn-dyed cotton check which I interfaced with the heaviest interfacing in my stash.

The only downside of a huge bag is that my wallet and phone drift to the bottom - so I added a cheeky little pocket which was salvaged from the lining of an old handbag. The bottom of the bag was a bit saggy, so I opened it up again and stiffened it with a piece of plastic cut from a folder - I didn't want to use cardboard as this bag will probably need a lot of washing!
