^^^Teaser Image^^^

I randomly go through periods of using all my spare time (when the baby naps) to craft. Most times, I am cleaning and cooking dinner and working from home but sometimes I spend a couple days in a row to crank out some goodies in those oh so precious few hours where my angel is sleeping angelically. When I go through my crafting craze and crank out some new pieces, I feel renewed and am always amazed when I am able to better my work. I love sharing my new work with you guys and love the compliments I receive. I don't think a whole lot else makes me happier with my work than when I hear that other people appreciate my severe attention to detail. So in advance, thank you all for being so supportive about creativity! I think without creativity life becomes dull. I love whimsy and a splash of color in places you didn't expect it and I think that is what drives me.

And now onto the goodies that will make you crave their realistic counterparts.

I started on some lollipops for a new line I will be cranking out called "From the Sweet Shop". These are just the beginnings to much much more sweet stuff.

Here are some m&m inspired goodies from the "Sweet Shop" line:

Some banana bunches for the fruit lover

And then some ice cream for the sugar lover (all of us I assume)

Next time, I will put more 'nuts' on these...

I also am in the middle of rolling out my "carnival" items. I posted some of them in another thread from impatience.
https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=411121.0

But here are the rest:

I still want to make some turkey legs and will be working on candy apples and caramel apples soon.

Here's my new "High Tea for Alice" necklace

And a few of my "Asian Spice" jewelry pieces. Others to come will be egg rolls, more sushi pieces, noodle bowls and chinese takeout boxes.

Those last couple of pictures really show the detail of the sushi cane that I made for this. I had made a sushi cane a long long long time ago but I have thus improved my caning skills and hadn't tried to make one in almost two years so here is a little comparison pic:

Anyway, that is all for now. I hope you guys enjoy! I welcome friendly critiques and comments! Keep creating!

We love sushi over at our house too! You would be surprised to realize what you can do when you try. My first attempts with polymer clay looked like a childs play-doh(sp) work.

The first photo of the corndog reminded me that I have a sausage pancake corndog in the freezer and I'm hungry now.

I love the high tea necklace! I make little teacups too and I like to stack them like that to see how their colors match up when I'm working on them ^^
