I feel like I am at a hockey game... Oh Canada wont stop playing in my head... Lovely hoop!

The Wham hoop is amazing. What did you use to add the comics to the hoop?

I must pin the Crafty hoop! Beautiful stitching!!!

YAY! I'm so glad it arrived in good time and good shape. I sent it xpress post because I've had problems with the post losing my hoop in the past, and I DID NOT want to repeat that.

I'm glad you like it. Smiley

that Wham is great!

These new hoops are all so great! I want them all on my wall! But I really like the canadian leaf and I want to know more about the technique for getting the comic print on the WHAM one. It looks flawless, my guess is modge podge?
Also, I'm glad you like your hoop, whenindoubtsew, and I wanted to apologize for everyone for breaking the rules and sending her an extra, I didn't pay close enough attention to see that it is *forbidden! (to be said in a deep, earthquaky voice) Just kidding about that. What can I say, I am a middle child, I crave love and acceptance! This was my first swap and I'm still working the kinks out of the machine. I'm so happy I joined because I am always giving my non-crafty friends gifts and then running away embarrassed! Now I get to do that, but with people that "get it."

I received from CelticGoddess! Look at the lovely hoop she sent:

The background material is this gorgeous silky green with little flowers on it. Very fairy tale princess. I love it!

I love fairy tales, books, stories, writing and the tv series Once Upon A Time so this quote is perfect in so many ways.

CelticGoddess, Are the letters machine stichted? If not, zomg how do you get your embroidery so perfect and precise!?

Thank you for a great swap and being a wonderful partner!

Glad to see it arrived in one piece, mezcraft! The hoop itself was really the part that took me the longest, sticking the comic pages on with a LOT of glue. They kept peeling off and I was getting really angry! Luckily it held together long enough and I managed to get a few layers of sealer over it.

I think if you look a little closer at the satin stitch you will see the first-timer mistakes... like where I put the breaks in the stitches? I really enjoyed doing the crayon tinting though, I think that it really helped me add some different layers to the word - the satin stitch is padded, so it stands out pretty well.

These other hoops are all so cool, too - the maple leaf looks crazy good, and I really love the design on the 'crafty' hoop there.

Yay! So glad you like it! No it's not machine stitched. I have a little, old sewing maching that just does lines. Nothing fancy. It took a lot of Doctor Who episodes to finish that thing!

Now, where has my other sent hoop gone to......

I was on the moon at the time.....with Steve.

I received from CelticGoddess yesterday!  My kitty decided she'd pose nicely (after ignoring her special cushion for over a week, I cleaned the house and voila! It's appealing again) with the package.

It's awesome!  I love the sparkly border.  I bought some command strips to hang stuff on my wall and will post a pic of my wall (all 2 hoops of it!) soon!
