Bad Kitty
« on: July 13, 2012 10:13:30 PM »

This was my desk this morning, complete with lazy cat. EWWWWWW. Unfinished wood on top of four old tubs from Rite Aid. It was a mess and very depressing.

Mr. Kitty said build your own desk, builds character. Challenge accepted, mission accomplished.

So I ditched two of the tubs, the empty ones and grabbed a piece of scrap beat up wood. I restained the wood and put some light sealant on it and covered the tubs with a velvet throw. I needed more space so I got a little table I refurbished last year and put a few coats of sealant on it and viola. New desk with some NiN decoupage to boot lol. I took two of the drawers out the open space seems better.

Mr Kitty was right.  I don't know about building character but it is a very nice desk.
