Well I took a mini break from swap crafting and have been working on assembling a quilt top this week. I couldn't help it - the squares have been staring at me for weeks. Wink But I found a pattern for something and I'm going to go cut it out now!

I am so mad! I finished something today that I have been working on. I won't explain why it was outside on my back deck on the table because that might give it away. Anyway, it was, and I was going to leave it there for a couple hours (for reasons I can't reveal) while I took my daughter to ride horses. Anyway, I had the gate shut but when I got back the Beagle that has taken up residence here had got through the gate somehow, got it and chewed it up Sad It was in my yard in pieces. I was soooooo mad. Maybe it was payback for the neutering a couple weeks ago. Oh well, nothing I can do but start over.

So sad!  I think this is the 2nd time in this swap that the pets have enjoyed the halloween goodies!  It must be there favorite holiday too!  I have been keeping my finished items up high so I don't have to post about the same type of disaster.

In order to keep my items from going astray (which would be really easy, this room is a complete disaster area) I put them all in a paper bag. My kitty got into the bag last night, but he really just wanted to sniff everything. No damage, just curiosity. (Didn't even get fur on anything, because they're all in plastic bags inside the paper bag!)

I'm 98% done with my most challenging project yet. I'm pretty happy with the results since this was my first time attempting it. Hoping to finish it today, and start in on another this afternoon.

Bought some supplies for another project today. It's going to be nasty and rainy outside here in Florida due to Issac heading through the Gulf tomorrow, so a perfect day to craft!
