I was inspired by the letter "Q".  I wanted to make a scorpion ring and wasn't coming up with any design I liked.  My first attempt didn't turn out like I wanted; the idea looked better in my head than in reality.

I was watching Project Runway on Hulu when a commercial came on and I realized the letter "Q" would make a very nice scorpion shape.  I quickly sketched my idea and noticed that if I kept the design simple then the ring would be quite nice and minimalist.

I made the ring with turquoise clay and gold plated copper wire.  The finished piece is absolutely beautiful and I love it.

PS I tried to copy and paste the image from my gallery into my post but since I haven't posted at least 10 times an error message came up alerting me to this bit of info.  So if you can't see the image in this posting then it is in my gallery.
