Last night the cat went a bit mad and made it into my craft room and got caught up in the plastic that was protecting my friends bridesmaid dress im doing some alterations to.

He's managed to claw a few small holes in the front by the knee. The dress is a knit jersey, i'm in the process of trying to steam the fabric and pull any loose thready bits to the back. Its not looking too bad but I just wondered if anyone has any amazing techniques for this sort of repair?
