So glad one flag has reached its home.  Both have been sent.

I've been tardy about posting, too. The needlessly complicated flag is coming along fine, though slowly. The other I haven't started yet, but I know it's going to be a lot faster, and I kind of want to get this one finished first so I'm not quite so scattered. Smiley

The Prayer Flag Project sounds great - I hope they post images of all the flags once they're installed. And just making flags and putting them up anonymously as guerrilla art is an even better idea. Perfect for ugly wire fences, for example. The best thing would be if other people saw your prayer flag there and added their own. I think I may have to try this.

And thanks for the tip about using a glue stick for putting fabric though the inkjet printer, Tanza. I've been using butcher paper, but I don't always have any when I need it. Aren't glue sticks great? At least when you're not expecting them to be permanent!

So sorry to hear of your pets, Jen.
We lost one of our dogs at the end of June and it's still pretty fresh...
My condolences.

Crafty News:
Both flags are done and I should be able to get them shipped tomorrow.

hey gals!
i have one flag completely done! and i have done some tea dying for the other and gathering of materials...

i had an uber long birth thursday through early saturday morning...and boy was i wishing i had brought some ready to go muslin or something to hand sew some flags.....anyhow, sometime this week and really gonna buckle down and flag it up!!

i have been really thinking hard about flag bombing my little town with prayer flags...i think it'd be fantastic. I am going to get some muslin precut and ready to go so i can have little projects to take on the go with me....and then let em loose!

Wow, I don't envy that mom you were working with!

lovely flag susan! I think it's great!

On a sadder note ... my weekend did not go to plan...  Cry I did not get as much done as I would have liked to. Turns out we had a lot more going on than I thought we would. My hubby likes to go go go all weekend and I thought I could stay home, but it didn't always go that way.

I did get a good start on it though and have completed my crafty schedule for the week and now my new estimated send day is Wednesday... I should get my clients cushions covers done by Tuesday... if not today and get back to work on my flag for Jen Sews.....

Still so sorry for your pet loss ... I don't do well in that situation, when our last dog passed early in life we got a new dog within a week... just couldn't stand the empty feeling...

I know about go go go hubbies, mine was like that this weekend too.  Sad  so I didn't get as much done as planned but I have my flags sketched out and pieces gathered, I just have to stitch them together. (I'm glad he works the night shift, quiet night once the lil'monster goes to bed)

What a lovely flag, Susan!  Perfectly executed too!  My brother just retired from being a firefighter - awesome men, those firefighters!  MaryColleen - can you also post your pictures in the Gallery for this swap?  I think everyone looking in our gallery should see this!!
