There aren't a lot of rugs on this board, so I thought I'd post this one. Wet felted, romney/border leicester backing and gotland on top. Both fleeces were scoured, I carded the romney cross for three layers of backing, then pulled locks of the gotland and arranged them thickly on top. I let the locks hang off the edge a little. The rug is small enough to roll in a beach mat.

Harlan, I'd have to weight it but probably less than 8 oz. It is 2'x3'.

jexxican, I washed these fleeces first....I think I had mentioned felting a raw fleece, which is still in progress... Smiley
