I am one of the many Craftsters who has been bitten by the felt badge bug...I love working with felt!  Here are the two badges I made for my partner in the second round of the Felt Badge Swap.  Both are made of wool felt and embroidery thread; and I used a single strand of regular sewing thread for the smaller felt pieces.

A lurking owl:

I saw a greeting card with an image like this that I used as the inspiration for this badge.  It is about 2" x 3".  My partner had a few owls on her Pinterest, so I went with it!

A folk-art hen:

My lucky partner actually lives on a farm and has chickens, which I envy immensely!  I knew this would be just right for her.  This one is also about 2" x 3".  I drew the shape onto paper and used that as my template for the chicken shape; then I cut all the flowers and leaves free-hand.

I love them both - you inspires me to try my hand at it myself.

They are both so sweet, I love the folk-art feel of the chicken and the expression of the owl.

They are sooooo adorable, both of them! I really can't pick a favourite.
Oh my, your stitching is so neat, I envy you!

Can't wait to see it appear in the Hot new projects area!

Your fobs are Felted Omygosh Beauties, LHH. For such a small piece of art, that owl has so much personality and that hen just makes me sigh. Wow!

That hen is beautiful!  I love the colors and the flowers.  (And, that says a lot; I'm SO not a hen person!  lol)  Great job!
