I RECEIVED TODAY!!! Yaaaayyy! My brother likes to tease me and keep my packages from me, but I definitely fought for this one Cheesy

Rubylynns is an excellent stalker/whimsy gatherer/partner because I received such awesome whimsies! (My brother was jealous)

First of all, I asked for a fabric "jar", and I received the cutest pink drawstring bag with tan accents and the word "whimsy" hand embroidered on the front! It's adorable!

The pink fabric is "just right" with its design and pink-ness.
Here's a closeup of the stitching. Isn't Ruby grand?

This is everything that was inside the package

Notice the owl in the lower right hand corner. I didn't get a closeup, but it's a nail file, I think!

These came outside of the bag, specially wrapped for their journey.

An owl and a clown/boy playing the accordion! The clown/boy reminds me of the one always in the I Spy books.

Adorable foam beads! I've never seen these before! I also cut off a handmade Ohio pin. It's stiff felt with an ear of corn stitched on the middle with a pin on the back!

I like the Australia one and the compass and the koala Cheesy

A lot of beads. The top photo shows the more unique and cute ones

These are literally perfect for me! Ruby did you stalk this out of me? Haha

Pins for my collection! I especially like the cupcake ones, the Ohio shape, the DIY one, oh I just like all of them! There's also a Sprite bottlecap in this set.(Not a pin though)

Some vintage-y sewing supplies! Purple glitter!!! (!!!) Some delicate gray lace. Buttons and button snaps Cheesy

Button bobby pins!! Two arrived missing their button, but superglue fixed that in literally a minute.

The paper they are on is so cool, too!

I could have jumped for joy when I saw this, except I was sitting down. A mini pennant banner! WITH OWLS! AND BURLAP! Flannel owl fabric and burlap together in one banner. Adorbs.

It already found a home on my bookcase (for now!)

And the little blue owl found a home, too, next to my blue Mason jar

Thanks again rubylynns!!

I love your owl/burlap bunting and your little blue owl figure Smiley Such a nice package!

Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!!!!!!!
it was a package of awesomeness, of pure unadulterated awesome. and there were so many pictures that the ones here just scratch the surface of its beauty Smiley (ummm yes, I enjoyed this swap immensely, why do you ask?)

She decided to go with a retro theme with some african undertones (mine to her was "confetti" because I couldn't choose one) but anyway....the pictures! there were 2 "jars"; a jar and a lunchbox, contained within another "jar" of a backpack!

lion backpack! I;ve already worn it to work and I've had it less than 24 hours Tongue

awesome flipcard kind of thingy with awesome things Smiley

pinup lunchbox! I'm going to be the coolest kid at college come September Smiley plus I'm a navy brat Smiley

whimsy from inside the lunchbox

fabric whimsy

tea and cupcake pincushions and bear thimbles and pretty bangles oh my!

some beautiful crafted african masks from the jar Smiley

inside the jar. i couldn't take enough pictures but this is a bunch of little whimsies, necklace, beads, a bunch of studs(yesyesyes!) and some candy Smiley

incense, tiny elephant candle, and beautiful earing that I also wore to work an hour later Tongue

erasures, a little vase with a kitty, and a baby iron for my closet housewifery Smiley (how did she know?)

Okay, the best two for last folks.....

how did she know I've always wanted a venus flytrap? I don't know, this girl is a genius folks, and if you don't belive me look at THIS....

Its so perfect....so beautiful... She combined my love of the vintage style, with my love of medicine (i'm a nursing student), with my love of looking pretty! i mean really....so much awesome.....

she just got my style and personality so perfectly! I hope she was half as awestruck by my package to her. I know I said I was going to wit to post these till i got back from my little trip...but i couldn't wait!
