so i've seen lots of people using this cool crayon melting technique and of course i wanted to try it too Smiley

I recently became the owner of a LARGE amount of construction paper crayons (for free) and used them for the picture. I glued all the crayons on with a hot glue gun and melted them down using a hair dryer. (I wasn't sure how messy this would get so I did it in the sink in my bathroom using a plastic table cover thing.)

I played around with a lot of different ideas of what to do with the canvas. The peace sign came from an old broken necklace. For the words, I painted stamps with black paint and stamped them on! For the border, i just wrapped some hemp around some thin wire and glued it on.

Cool! Most of the crayon melting projects I've seen have been rainbow. They are really great too but it's fun to see different color choices.

I love alphabet stamps Smiley.
