Still alive, still crafting... though I was shambling along like a zombie at work this morning.

Hey guys. I got hit hard with what I found out today was mono. So I've been asleep for a few days. I woke up to my package being delivered today. I didn't even know it got mailed. Smiley. It is ver similar to what I made her. I will try to send soon and post pics soon. Thanks jadedeva!

still here! bleh.... you know how sometimes you're chugging right along on a project? and you do the parts that you thought were gonna be really tricky with no problem? and then you do something you haven't even really thought twice about just KNOWING that that's what needs to happen next? and that something you just TOTALLY don't like the way it changed things? and so then it's like you've hit a brick wall and you can't really wrap your brain around what you're gonna do about it? so you have total crafters' block???

haha. yeah. that was me. but i finally got my brain in gear this evening! and i fixed it! and there's another smaller part to it that i have to do; but it's definitely gonna be tricky to get it right and if i don't it just won't work.... so i guess between the aforementioned incident and the stressing over whether i'll be able to get this other part right i just have had a real hard time getting motivated to start again.

but this morning while getting ready for work i happened to glance over and see my project sitting there and it just popped into my head what i needed to do to fix that one part and a different way i could do that other part i hadn't thought of....

so i've got the one part fixed and drying and the materials prepped and drying to do the other part.... so i should FINALLY be able to put the finishing touches on by the end of the week or this weekend. woot! and looking forward to sending early next week! =)

I finally have decided on what to make! Now I only need to make sure I have all the supplies and then I hope to get it all done this weekend since the bf is away anyway.

Feel better, jonnamarco! I had mono when I was a kid. I don't really remember what it was like, except I got to stay home from school. lol

Thanks Icekibby.  Missing a week of work was nice, too bad no work = no money. Oh well, one day I'll have a real job with sick time and everything.  Grin
