This was a wedding present for my friends... (Queen sized- 92"x92", pieced Irish Chain pattern, hand applique, hand-embroidery and both machine and hand-quilted).

Thanks, guys! :-)

As to how many hours/how long this took me... I didn't keep track, for my own sanity's sake. Basically, all of my usual crafting/free time for about a month and a half/two months. All I can say is that when I made my bridesmaid dress for the wedding I was amazed how fast it went together/was completed in comparison. Quilting takes some serious dedication and I salute those who make it their craft of choice (such as my mother). I for one, do not have the patience to do it on a regular basis!
