I saw this idea last summer season and hadn't actually tried it until now (too many ideas, not enough time lol).  Basically you sandwich a loose glitter polish between a "jelly" polish (a sheer polish that you can see through mostly).  I did this great green apple one (looks like a Jolly Rancher!) for summer!

Order of Application - one thin coat each to achieve this look...
Base Coat
Sinful Colors "Irish Green" (pictured)
Wild and Crazy Colors "Call You Later"

Seche Vite Top coat

It's a layered sandwich of jelly and glitter until I was happy with the color depth.  You could do less or more depending on personal taste.  I found that the recent collection of Sinful Colors neons (bought mine at Walgreens for $1 on sale) are jelly like and would be good for this.  I have a Neon Orange and Yellow at home too I may try!

Ooh, very cool! Do you have any problems getting it to dry and not be smushy (for lack of a better word) with that many coats?

I was worried about that, but it dried smooth and hard.  Each layer was very thin and I let a layer dry a bit before moving on to the next one.  I was doing this at work during calls LOL.

Love the look of this. Looks like jello with glitter suspended in it. Not a fan of the boring neon nails I'm seeing EVERYWHERE, these have texture and fun.

Thanks, I really like texture and interest in my nail colors.  I did a neon orange earlier this week with a black shatter over it.  The neon alone made me feel like I could direct planes in at the airport LOL  The shatter toned it down a bit but it was still fun looking for summer.  Yesterday I had another glitter sandwich in a medium blue.  I tend to do my nails every few days LOL  I'm leaving them blank this weekend to breathe for a bit though before I do something funky for Independence Day with them.  I'll be sure to post it here :-)
