For the Read to me mommy swap rd3 I chose a Dutch book: Agent en Boef - Policeman and Crook. I think it is a very funny book with lots of nice drawings.

Here's a pic of the book:

I created these finger puppets and made them from felt (except the shirt of Crook, that is jersey). It was so nice to make them and although I'm not very good at embroidery I think they are so cute!

A group shot:

Here's a pic of Crook. He's a little, naughty boy. He escapes from prison!

Here's Policeman. He looks after Crook while he is in prison. Making sure he doesn't escape. He is going after Crook when he does escape!

And here's Policedog. He helps Policeman following the trail.

And because I like his 'behind' so much:

Crook steals glue from the children at kindergarten. He smears glue everywhere he goes.
Policeman comes up with a plan to trick Crook.

It involves a giant container of glue (lijm):

Instead of glue, Policedog is inside with lots of tape. They tape him and bring him back to prison.
It is a silly but funny story and in the end Policeman says he had fun and Crook asks him if he wants to do that again tomorrow. Hahaha!  Cheesy

I had lots of fun creating these! And even felt a little bit sorry to send them! But they are well loved, I know!

Thanks for looking!!

You made some wonderful finger puppets! The child who gets that package is lucky!

Thanks for your nice comments! I am pretty proud of them!

And I think Policedog (their names are their character) is my favourite too, TroubleT!

The boy who got this, is too young now, but his big sister can play the story for him to watch. I know the package is well appreciated! This took so long to make, but I was just having so much fun creating these characters!  Cheesy
