So, I am very anxious to see what everyone thinks... My partner, Dearbluebird received on Saturday according to the USPS, but I haven't heard from her yet, so I decided I would post pics I have of the quilt I sent her!

Her theme was Circus Side Show Acts, like the Strong Man. And she likes more natural tones so I came up with this quilt based off real acts with the Strong Man as the focus!

This is what is behind the Strong Man: I freezer stenciled the word circus in a circus font:

A Close Up of the Label:

I hope you all like it! It's the first one I've ever made and really thought it came out well! I sure hope Dearbluebird doesn't mind I posted photos! I was just TOOO anxious and I haven't heard from her since I sent... Probably a busy Holiday weekend!

The pictures I colored with colored pencil lightly after printing on photo fabric with my printer! All the pictures were real acts from the early 1900's!

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

Put your envy meters on max.  I got the bestest quilt in the mail today.

Yay!!!!  Look at my New York Foody made by Warped Hooker!!!!  Isn't it gorgeous!?!!!!  I love it!  She used the New York Beauty pattern, one that I am too intimidated to try, but absolutely love.  Now I have one of my very own.

More pictures on my blog.  http://twasbrilligand.blogspot.com/2012/05/new-york-foody.html

and... definitely over the Big Top on the circus quilt.  Love it too.
