This is a gift I got. I thought it was so cute that I had to share the idea with you guys:


When I saw it, I immediately thought of putting some glasmarbles or stones in a cocktail glass with a candle in it:

I see that this has a plant in it.  I thought that plants needed holes in the bottom of the container.  Maybe I am wrong.  Let me know if it is ok.  

I think this is great.  Now I know what to do with some extra champaigne glasses.

the holes in the bottom are for drainage, so you would have to be careful watering it to avoid drowning the roots. i notice that this one has some rocks there, which would help as the water would pool there instead of waterlogging the soil.

I have martini glasses with rose shaped candles all over my room.  I used to have a GIANT margarita glass full of water and floating candles, but it gathered too much dust with my open window..Sad
