The finished product:

I stopped here and there (usually every ten stitches or every finished line) and took a photo with an iPhone 4 in HDR. I took it with me just about everywhere I went for four days, and worked on it where I could, thus the different backgrounds. My fiance neatly sandwiched it all together into a little video! Check it out here:

P.S. Looks cool when you play "Rill Rill" by Sleigh Bells in the background Grin

You are awesome, darling. This is so fun. I wouldn't have the patience to stop every 10 stitches or so. Or I'd get carried away and be all "Oh shit, I just stitched for an hour without taking a pic!" and the whole project would be ruined.
And your stitching is great, too! Like, really. Not kidding. Super great stitches, so neat and tidy and little tiny! Leaving it as a hoopla?

Hahaha! Oh gosh, I caught myself *several* times going too fast. It was also difficult because to create a little "movie magic" I drew the pattern on the back, so I had to work inside-out on most of it. Made it look good, but frustrating as hell Smiley

Thanks for the compliments on my stitchwork, I really appreciate that! Yeah, I think I'm going to leave it in the hoop Smiley

What a fun project! The design is lovely and your stitching is perfect. The video is inspired! I watched it twice. It was like the rose was growing from the ground.
