One night I decided I wanted to try knitting socks. I had never knitted more then a garter or stockinette stitch scarf. How hard could it be? I grabbed a pair of random sized four point needles and worsted weight yarn and gave it a go. Slowly the sock actually began to look like, well, a sock. I was overjoyed and showed it to anyone who would look. I ran to my LYS and proceeded to buy 10 different sock yarns. The following socks are my first completed pair. I used this pattern http://chrisknitsinniagara.blogspot.ca/2008/04/best-sock-patternever.html. I apologize about the link, I've just started posting here on craftster.
