What a great gift. What amazes me every time are the shots where someone (you?) are holding them. It shows just how delicate and small they are. Mind boggling!

Thank you for the kind words, everyone!

My Mother doesn't see/hear so well at times, as such, despite explaining to her what was going on with the felines in this piece when I gave it to her, shortly thereafter, I caught her telling my Aunt that the cats were coming out of a coffee machine instead of a copy machine.  I didn't know whether to laugh or cry . . .

@curiousfae:  Yes, that's my hand in the photo--it's always my hand.  In the past, I have considered having other people, with different skin tones, tattoos, rings, painted nails, etc., hold my stuff when I photograph them, just to see if anyone would notice the switch, but I've never done that . . . yet. Cheesy

Speaking of which, amusingly, as a tribute to me, another artist ("Darththomas") made this "Hand of the Miniature Master" piece (along with a tiny Masters of the Universe He-Man figure he also crafted), in a contest, at another art site, back in 2012, with the following description:

"A mythical disembodied hand known to frequent figurerealm dot com and other modelling websites. The hand of the miniature master has the ability to summon a miniature version of any item it may need or want. It uses it's miniatures in a never ending quest to rule the world of miniature making. Although the hand often creates minis from popular media such as DC comics, Thundercats and Transformers, it's main weapon are its vintage video game characters. The more obscure the better for the hand as this only means his enemies will have little knowledge of how to fight the miniature. It is thought that the left hand is always accompanied by a right hand but this has never been proved as the right is a shy and elusive hand."

HO. LY. CAT.

I adore this. But why why have I not learned by now not to be shocked when I see it in your hand later in the post, and it is so tiny??!!
You rock so hard, my friend.
P.S. Is your mother highly creative also with a fantastic sense of humor?
