hey gang!
I am looking for leather remnants of any size pretty much and different colors. Does anyone know if there is a website that offers free samples or really cheap scrap bags or if any of you may have some to give away perhaps? Huh Please let me know!! Thanks  Grin

I love doing personal swaps!! Contact if interested.

I would try a leather shoe/bag repair place. They are normally really cool about giving away stuff they can't use or selling it at a low price.

I know this is really an old topic but leather jackets, skirts, pants etc are great sources for leather. And they are fun to cut up too. To be honest I just love cutting them up I have 3 or 4 leather pieces at home waiting for a project. I've picked up jackets for as little as 2 dollars.

If you have a Salvation Army thrift store nearby, check it out.  I don't know if they are all the same, but mine marks down all clothing that entered the store withing a certain timeframe to $1 at the end of the week.  I once got a teal blue leather skirt suit (!!!) for $1.  I'm still trying to figure out what to make with it.  This is also a good way to get cheap zippers and buttons if you are willing to take the time to remove them from the clothing.

Wanted to third the thrift store thing, in case anyone else is wondering this kind of thing... I've picked up multiple jackets & skirts over the years for less than $2 that have seen new life as various things. Look in all sections. Men, women, jacket, skirt, pants.

Craft till it hurts.
