Yay for the gallery, let's fill it up!

I haven't made it to the PO yet, but I will by tomorrow. Got distracted by Phrixy's birthday and such. We had a blast going to the Textile Museum fabric sale, and picked up loads of cute scraps for crafting. We also went to St Lawrence Market (AMAZING spinach turnovers that I cannot remember how to spell in Greek), and saw MIB3. So much fun! Then after dinner we went to Tim's to drink Ice Capps and make art. Finished a couple sets of ATCs for swaps and some things for a BoS project I'm working on for digital downloads. Whew! Busy day. I might need a nap just reading that back. lol

I was looking through the scraps we got and there are a few so nice I'm almost reluctant to use them for anything, which really is pointless. Anyone else like that? It's terrible.

Will swap for 1:12 exotic & magical dollhouse furniture and accessories, amigurumi, magical poppets.

I've been actively avoiding the annual fundraising sale at the Textile Museum of Canada for years, and trying to ignore everything people tell me about the great stuff they buy there. The last thing I need is more fabric and trims! At least it's over for another year and I can stop hiding.

I'm finished and packed up, but as I'm leaving to visit my sister in Washington state tomorrow, I'm going to take the package in my luggage and mail it on the US side. I'll PM as usual when I've sent.

Didn't make it to the post office today. Sad Apparently the roads all around it were closed for construction...(whoever planned THAT one out...I have no words for them...) and, being a relatively new driver, I paniced and decided it was not meant to be today.

I will have my package shipped by Wednesday, though, promise. Smiley

Wulf, Icekibby - I wish I had discovered this group sooner. I spent a very lonely year in Toronto, oogling the textile museum with my student card and eating in all the cultural hole-in-the-walls by my lonesome.

No worries, it works out better that way for me, I am traveling this weekend and wouldn't want it to sit on the stoop where it could get wet from freak down pours.  On a happy happy fun note, I was finally able to tie dye this weekend!  The humidity and rain lessened after a massive rain so I gathered my gear and got to business.  I am hoping to do some more after we return from the weekend away, its a great way to upcycle some of the clothes the girls can still fit into but are stained.  Plus I want to have the older girls do some onesies for the new baby.  4 more weeks  Grin

Clear a space to make a mess!
