WOW! Thanks everyone! I'm glad you like it Smiley
First thought: Amazing, awesome, gorgeous, beautiful dress!
Second thought: How in the world do you fit into something you wore when you were seven?!
It was HUGE on me Smiley like ridiculously huge!
In other news, where are your boots from? They might have to be my birthday present to myself....
I think their sold out, I got them at off the Forever 21 website for $39 about 4 years ago Sad
I love it. I too have things fubar in the middle and have to salvage it into somthing awesome.
A tip for spraying RIT dye: put it in a glass bowl and nuke it in the microwave for 1-2 minutes
Thanks! I'll definitely try that next time.
Every girly outfit is made better by some biker-esque boots. <3
And may I say that this dress is EPIC.
Thank you, I completely agree about the biker boots! Wink
Now you have made two things I would happily steal from you and run away squealing... If I had to choose, I don't know if this or the fox mug would win!
Seriously awesome dress. Can't believe how much work you put into it!

LOL Thanks!
I must say that necklace is rockin'.. Yeah?? No?? Okay..
In all seriousness, I quite like how this turned out, and I love that I'm not the only person that holds onto things for umpteen years. Great job!
My actual stream of thought regarding the awesomocity (yes, that is a word) of this dress is basically a string of expletives because I lack the necessary eloquence to explain how bloody amazing this is. Holy f-ing bananas, quite frankly... I am so totally pinning this.
Thank you! Awesomocity is quite possibly my new favorite word.
This is super pretty! You remind me of River Tam. Smiley
You just made my day Smiley

This is one of the best Galaxy themed clothing items I have ever seen!!  Great job!  I would love to try something like that, I have a perfect dress, but it would never in a million years come out that beautiful.  Jealous!!!

This is amazing! From the first photo, I had NO idea this was once a hideous pink dress! I thought it was galaxy fabric! I also love how you paired it with those boots, and your necklace you made is perfect for this look. Love it!

All that trial and error paid off beautifully. I wish my experiments turned out half so well!

What a fun process, lol. Great outcome, though, and I bet you learned a lot from the dying process. I love the full and uneven skirt hem. Great galaxy pattern application.
