Now we're in Gumby; I'm gonna walk through a book.

For Father's Day, my son and I made my husband a mirror cake. We kind of followed the recipe here: https://www.buzzfeed.com/alvinzhou/this-mirror-glaze-cake-is-literally-insane?utm_term=.tuvn2k3qB#.livMzNpOa

We just used one chocolate 8 inch cake layer (didn't bother splitting it) and used a nine inch springform pan to mold it. We had to make the bottom the top. (And no jam in ours.)

It turned out pretty good! And the tons of leftover glaze was really fun for a three year old to marble. :-)

Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend.  Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read.

Wow - pretty.  I thought it was a glazed glass plate or piece of pottery at first!

Woah, I thought this was a plate.  Even after I started reading it, I was highly confused.  It's gorgeous!

I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.
