Hi everyone! This is my most recent project in a veryyyy long time.

My inspiration was the lovely Chie of Vivat Veritas. Chie is an amazing seamstress and I am constantly inspired by her work! I encourage you to look her up!

The dress is made from black cotton sateen and accented with glass faux pearls. I made it under a slight time crunch, so although I think I've done better work, I'm happy with how it came out! I used a pattern that I drafted myself.

Thank you for looking!

Love this. Great detail work.  I wish I had your talent.  I just checked your blogs.  When I have more time I'll really look at everything.  But so far I'm impressed with both of them.

The back has a breathtaking view. The flow from the shoulders to the back zipper is dreamy. The bodice looks painstakingly gorgeous, labour of love. Luckily, a dress like this will be able to last for many years.
