Here are a couple of Belly Dance costumes I have made.
Front View

Close Up

Bra top / sports bra was made of lycra knit.
Vest was made of croc textured vinyl with brass frog closures.
Garter pants were made of a heavy knit and brass detail
Bustle skirt was made with suiting fabric with crme lace trim

Front View

Back View

The bra has under wire and the cups are made of brocade, with burgundy taffeta straps and a dangling pendant.
The hip scarf is made out of the same brocade, and has tarnished silver frog closure.  The dangling bits on the hip scarf were from a pair of earrings I took apart, and the skirt has 8 cascade gores around the bottom.

Post apocalyptic, steampunk, tribal fusion clothing and accessories.

These are so pretty!  I love the fusion elements you brought into it, and I bet they both look great when you're dancing!

Everything is so pretty! Did you find the brocade difficult to work with at all?

When in doubt, use more glue!

Look Ma, I'm on Ravelry!

very nicely put together. Love the mock croc vest especially.

Use what talent you possess - the woods would be very silent if no birds sang except those that sang best
