Hey, I'm just going to post the pics I have of what I sant pj107 because I'm antsy! I think she's waiting to open until she sends, and that's okay with me!  I only have pictures of the first two, for reasons I am unsure of.  The third was a headband with sculpted Ludo horns from Labrynth. I sent both the horns and the headband, but I ended up not attaching them to the headband though because some people are kind of picky about their hair bling and I wasn't sure if she preferred headbands or clips.

The first picture is a bottle-topper of the broom and bucket from Fantasia. It's fully armetured, and hopefully very sturdy. I dropped him a few times on accident before I painted him, and he seemed alright. The bucket handle is even made out of wire.  It screws onto water and pop bottles, basically so other people don't go drinking out of your bottle. Either that or it's just a tiny little sculpture. I wish I'd gotten a picture of the other side where the water is spilling out of the bucket because I like how the soapy bubbles turned out.  This is the first time I've used white sculpey, and then painted it. Totally new to me, but I kind of liked the effect.

The second is from her first choice movie, How To Train Your Dragon. He's a freshly hatched Baby Toothless of her very own, complete with a nest and egg.  He was hard to part with.  My hubs actually thought I made it for him, because I let it dry on his desk. Sadness ensued.

Hope I did okay for my first swap! I'm all kinds of nervous!

Got my three tiny movie things today, they're so awesome!  They are little shadow boxes with the character and quote in them (and how'd you know all my favorite quotes?)

From Office Space:  Milton and his red stapler.

From The Goonies:  Chunk

From My Fair Lady:  Eliza rooting for her horse to win.

I love them all!  Thank you soooo much for a great package of tiny things!

bobbinalong made me one craft from every movie, giving me five instead of just three!  Plus extras!  Major spoilage!  Totally unexpected, and awesome!   Thanks SO much!

First off, from Casablanca, a beautiful mini-clutch, featuring a portrait of Rick and Ilsa, and a background of the sheet-music to "As Time Goes By."  I love the sentimental feelings this brings up; the movie is very special to me, and this purse captures the emotion beautifully!

From Roxanne, a Steve Martin film about a man with a gigantic long nose.  This ornament was inspired by the quote "You must love the little birdies to give them this to perch on."  Dear Hubby totally laughed when he saw this; Roxanne is his favorite movie.  This was packaged in a hand-made mini-tote--photographed in the very bottom photo of this post.

From Shakespeare in Love, a snake-shaped amulet with a little paper in it's mouth that says, "William Shakespeare".  Shakespeare gave this amulet to his lover hoping to get over a massive case of writer's block.  Something that I get every now and then as well; so now I have an amulet to help me through it; maybe if I insert the name of my sweet hubby?  lol  Also packaged in a hand-made tote!

From Dangerous Beauty, a French Cross rubber stamp, shown at the bottom right of this photo.  Also in this photo are the extras, three hand-carved rubber stamps---popcorn, a movie ticket, and a bucket to stamp the popcorn into.  SO awesome.  I love rubber stamps!  What a great addition to my collection!  Also packaged in a hand-made tote.

From the musical Thoroughly Modern Millie.  This is my absolute favoritist hoopla ever.   I LOVE this quote!  lol  And the work on this piece is exquisite.  Bobbinalong said it was her first time ever doing anything like this, and I'm SO lucky to get the end results!  Amazing!  It's hanging on my wall right now, for sure!

Here's a group shot of all the crafty goodness I received yesterday!  The items not shown in other photos are the three bags on the left that items arrived in, and a huge ink pad to use with my new stamps.  Yay!  I needed an inkpad!  Smiley

What a wonderful package to receive, bobbinalong!  Thanks so much for sharing your special movies with me, and for taking the time to watch and craft for movies that are special to me.  I really enjoyed being your swap partner!

so we did finally open our box and yes Sharky, you had NOTHING to be worried about Smiley
Apologies for the duplicate photos but it was such an awesome box it was worth repeating!

The horns were cool, and yes I did realize they were from Labyrinth (for some reason that surprised me that I knew that, prob cause I didn't know the character but I remember seeing them!)

they aren't attached to the headband so if I didn't like that, I could put hair clips on it... but  its going on the headband shortly.

Next was from Fantasia and even one of my fav parts, the Sorcerers Apprentice.

The base is done on a bottle cap, so that gives you a reference to size.

Last was just amazing.  He got so excited to get to my house that he played with his shell on the way here but nothing that can't be fixed with glue Smiley

And last, her and I are Dr Who fans!  So she sent me a postcard of my favorite form of travel....

Hope you like your box as much as I have and here is a small preview for you...

Hi guys!!

I was so thrilled to find my package at my doorstep today, and THANK YOU solitarycricket!!! super cool stuff.......

also, I must apologize deeply for the super poor image quality..I've been searching high and low for my camera charger, but until I'm reunited web cam will have to do...

Three great Parking Lot Movie bookmarks, reading from top to bottom, "I did not overcharge people to get more money. I overcharged people because they were dicks and deserved it. Vengeance is mine," "In the parking lot we were dynamos. Whirlwinds. We were rulers. WE had complete autonomy. We had it in a world that had nothing to offer us," and, "Usually the customer's always right. At the parking lot the customer's only sometimes right and even then it's still a judgement call."

Whew!!! GREAT quotes, long post:)

here we have an awesome rendition of Sinatra and Brando from Guys and Dolls...very impressive!!!

and lastly, the one that nearly brought me to tears,

Beautiful. and so much more so in person. I wish all of you could see it!! It reads, "Let us hope that we are all preceded in this world...by a love story". THANK YOU!! I will treasure these great gifts always!!!!!

I got my package today! I am so excited! It was full of amazing things.  I'll post pictures tonight.  Sadly, I will be taking them with my tablet or my laptop because my camera charger died a sad, explainable death.  Or I'll try to borrow a camera. But if you have any shots of them, pjr107, please post! I'd hate not to do your awesomness justice.

Ok, not in any particular order (except how they got uploaded):

From Back to the Future
Marty McFly in his radiation suit, ready to convince his dad to take his mom to the dance:

From Sweeny Todd
A powder wig on form and shaving blade from the barber shop, and Mrs. Smith's pie (we don't want to know whats in it):

From Alice in Wonderland
Painted red roses (not really painted, but sparkely):

From A Knight's Tale
As seen in the movie, Paul Bettany was very naked after he lost his clothes in a game of chance (shown from the back so as not to offend too much):

There ya go.... Pictures!

Oh, lets not forget the awesome mini peach pie you sent (Peach, not preist!)   It's already gone. Pie never stays in my house long, unless it's paying rent. And it wasn't. Oh, and the delicious rasberry licorice.  My kid demolished it before I noticed she'd opened the box.  Your son's note gave me a little kick too AND you sent a coloring book, so you officially rock my socks off.

Wheeee!  After an unfortunate wait of a weekend (sorry!) I got my package from stove037, and boy was it worth the wait!  I opened it early this morning and still get a grin on my face when I look at the stuff 14 hours later!

First up: Shaun of the Dead, and my very own customized Shaun complete with Cricket Bat!  ....and blood splatters.  Cheesy  Completely adorable!

Next: Zombieland.  I chuckled everytime I even THOUGHT of the quote today, let alone saw it.  But it's totally your fault I'm craving Twinkies, now.  Mmmmmm, Twinkies...

Finally: Mega Piranha.  Like I said, not a great movie, but an awesomely bad one, and one I thought would work well for crafting.  But this completely surpassed my wildest hopes - a wee little Piranha zippered pouch (seriously, who doesn't like zipper mouth pouches? So. Awesome.) complete with - oh yes - a plethora of things the piranhas in the movie swallowed.  Yes, that is a helicopter.  Yes, you HAVE to see this movie.  Really.

(my husband even gushed over how cute it was, and he's a tough critic, so that is high praise indeed!)

And a picture all together with the extra little crafty erasers and candy (*drool* - it only made it home because someone at work brought in a leftover cake, but it won't survive much longer, especially since those are Canadian Smarties and you just can't get them around here, and I can't risk someone else getting their grubby little paws on them.

I know, I'm gushing, sorry, but it really made me feel that good!  Cheesy  THANK YOU! Cheesy

I am sooo glad you liked everything Smeddley!  I was a bit worried about Shaun because two of my family members (who hadn't seen the movie) thought is was a duck Sad  And I would like to thank you for letting me experience the hilarity that is "Mega Piranha"!

Okay, it seems we do have a flaker, and stove037 is left package-less.  Unless anyone else here is chomping at the bit to step in (or she sees what I sent and goes Noooooooo! Anyone but her!), I'm more than happy to.  Her movies were:

1.The Birds (1963)/Shadow of a Doubt (1943) - Hitchcock films
2.Northanger Abbey (2007)/Persuasion (either) - Austen films
3.Bridge on the River Kwai (1957)/ The Best Years of Our Lives (1946) - WWII films
4.Penelope (2006)/Sound of Music (1965) - Family films
5.Inception (2010)/Memento (2000) - Mind-benders

Probably would be best if they were movies you'd already seen or could get your hands on quickly, since there's only a 2-week to sendout period.

Anyway, the package I sent out:

From The Fantastic Mr Fox, a hoop with what I thought was the funniest part of the movie.  Yes, they actually said the word "cuss" throughout when they were swearing.

From Amelie, the gnome (it's a needlebook)

And from Spirited Away, a reusable shopping bag (yes, I realize this pushes the 4" rule, but since it's main function is to be folded up and stuffed into a purse to be carried around - at least I say that's what it is! - I'm saying it's permissible...)

Please check the list on the front page and make sure I have your status correct, let me know if there are any recieveds I haven't logged!

So I've been a total bum about posting pictures this swap - but here they finally are.

Here is my total package from hippieguts123. Including chocolate peanut butter button cookies (yum!) and a stuffie from Coraline, a tiny little Goblet of Fire, and a Princess Bride bag.

And a little closer up just to see the details a bit better.

Thanks a lot! I really like my package. I especially love the little stuffed critter from Coraline. I couldn't for the life of me tell you what the animal is supposed to be, but its just so awkward and cute. I recognized it right away.

An amazing Donnie Darko stamp, it's of Frank, the bunny.

A super cool magic wallet thing that's Scott Pilgrim themed, along with some seven evil exes note cards.

And the coolest Hanna inspired wrist cuff. This was a tough movie to craft for, so I'm super impressed!

And the Carl Plaque is so sweet! What are the bracelets from?

My dh and I were just brainstorming crafts for "bridge on the river Kwai" Not such a funny movie, but surprisingly funny craft ideas  Grin

I hope you are all still following this board so you can see the awesome angel package Smeddley made for me!  Please excuse the carpet as I didn't have anything handy that was a solid colour.
First off, from The Birds, is a perfectly birdish hoop and a sweet little crochet bird needlebook!

Then from The Sound of Music, a tea wallet that actually had my favourite herbal tea in it (Celestial Seasonings Peppermint)

From Northanger Abbey  she made me 3 book thongs with the names of the "Seven Horrid Novels" on shrinky dinks!  Such a smart idea and they definitely look like they are from the Regency period!

Finally she made me an extra, some crochet hook markers for my unfinished projects (I have many) and she made the cutest little sample to show how they work.

Thanks soooo much Smeddley!  I love it all and it was so kind of you to angel for me!

I'm glad you like it!  If I'd known you liked that tea so much, I would have sent more!  It's the least-drunk around here, though I do so love the way it smells, I have to be in the mood for it.

Thanks everyone for such an awesome swap and gallery, everything should be wrapped up (let me know if there are any issues).
