How did I miss this? It's so pretty! I love the golden grass against the fabric.

It's simple and beautiful. The contrasting colours are nice.

It's so lovely in it's simplicity. The colors make such a striking piece.

I believe I have this very same crewel book and have wanted to do something similar.  I just couldn't figure out what to use the pattern with.  I would never have thought of a printed fabric.  Now I am and it has opened up a whole new world of possibilities.

Thanks for sharing your lovely piece.

The fabric was an inspired choice. It looks beautiful and very stylish.

Thank you!!

booglass - I'm anxious to find some time for the other patterns in the book. Looking forward to seeing what you create!

LimeRiot - I am headed home today and plan to look through the book in hopes of putting together a pattern.

I have two good reasons - a) I am working on a huge project that is going to take forever and I need a break b) I would like a small project for an upcoming trip.  I'll be on a train for 30 hours.

I think I may use fabric from an old button up shirt from Mr. Boo.

Thanks for the inspiration.
