22 March 2012

Someone dear arrived on my doorstep today. Literally. I called my mum this afternoon, to inform her I wouldn't be joining her for lunch when she told me there was a package for me. Nice! But, because no one was home, the mailman had put the package in our garden, as we asked him to do when we're not home. All great. If it wasn't for the fact that the sweetest Lunamoine put some chocolate and other sweets in the box. Iek! Now, everything was nicely wrapped, and Esme-Alice is okay, but it did scare me for a minute.

All wrapped up!

Oho, this I like! *I do feel VERY guilty now that I sent Ellie out with no food or other gifts. That ain't good Lunamoine, and I will make it up to you!*

Yep, in the SUN!

Is she not pretty?

With her own wardrobe. What a lady!

And with a note, for me and my family. They'll love her, for sure!

Esme-Alice arrived one day late to celebrate Ostara, or the beginning of Spring in Belgium. No worries, plenty of daffodils to make up for that loss Wink.

And just because our house IS indeed a pyramid... The composition is not quite complete with my stupid bike, but oh well. Can you spot Esme?

Quincy and Remy in the snow.

Quincy went to a Tea Party. It beat staying home, he tolerated it well.

Charlie got here today!  Unfortunately, though we'd been having wonderful weather... all winter, really, today was pretty dreary and he had to stay inside.

This led to some... issues around the office, but I finally got him settled down.  I mean, I understand that he had a lot of pent-up energy after the trip, but...  Anyway, I'm glad I had headphones, because he listed to that song nine million times!

(I...uh, have already taken close to 90 pictures, and that's just around the office... some are duplicates, sure, but... I think I was eager for this swap to start!)

Oh!  Charlie looks thrilled to be there!  Even if the weather isn't so great.  "Sunny Florida" isn't so sunny, and those trees look amazing!  I don't think Charlie has ever seen trees in quite that color before...we only have "green-ish" and "orange-ish" trees here...oh, and the "green-ish ones with yellow pollen-type stuff" that make him sneeze.

I would bet that Charlie was making you crazy with that song.  He does that to me, too!  Although, if you put on a little bit of Linkin Park, he will settle down.  Not sure why, because it always makes me hyper.   Smiley
