Very impressive, and I'm not just saying it for a first bag, it's a very impressive bag.

Love your fabric choices.  I need to make one in this style.  Where can you get the pattern?

Thanks everyone!
I'm wondering now if it's possible to get beyond the Frenchy bag and make something else.
I doubt it because I'm dying to make more, more, more   Cheesy

Katekos, There are two large pockets...one on each side and the width of the entire bag.
I chose to sew down the centre of each to make them into 4 which easily holds a paperback book in each.

gigi30, I picked mine up at a quilting shop here in Toronto, Canada which also carries her fabrics.
Have you checked the amy butler site where she sells her goodies, she carries it there.

Has anyone made the tunic or cami? http://www.amybutlerdesign.com/products/patterns_display.php?id=36
How cute is that!

I love these bags!  I made one for myself and everybody in my office wanted one!  I've made 4 so far.

Thanks again!
I used this bag so much on my vacation...it holds a bunch of stuff easily so even happier with it!
One thing I would do differently next time is to make the inside pockets from 2 different fabrics instead of 1.
I found I couldn't tell which pocket I put something into and had to search them all.
