Checking in. I humbly bow to you people that organize these swaps on a regular basis. I'm in the later stages of organizing my first swap. It's a lot of work.Tongue Anyway, I haven't gotten to work on my piece for this swap yet. I have friends visiting today, but I hope to get started once they go home for the night.Smiley

It is a lot of work!  This is my first time organizing in 2 years, and i totally forgot how much work it was!

I've got to settle on a 2nd layer.  I like what I have, but think it could be better if I used a different medium....

I have one done. I think it's done. But may need a bit more something.
I plan to make a few more versions and pick the *best* ones to send to my partner and to ArtHouseCoop.

I need some watercolors also. Have some shiny ones. But the purple, magenta and red are all gone in my regular set.

I finished thi morning in the wee hours and then I woke up and looked at it. You know that scary feeling you get before you swap that makes you feel like whatever you are going to send will be completely inadequate compared to your partner?? Yeah that's where I am now.

Checking in!
I'm trying a new craft for this swap so I'm in the trial and error phase right now. But I like it so far Smiley

I had a brilliant idea for a change to my original while I was at work today... Just finished implementing it, and I'm satisfied that I am now finished! (The experimentation with my other idea wasn't working out like it did in my head... I could probably still make it happen eventually, but I'm happy with this one now, so I'll save that for another time.)
