I was "commissioned" to make a welcome wreath for a friend's baby. I've only made one before, on the fly, so this one was the first big one I have done. I made a scrappy wreath, modge-podged the letter E, used ribbons to add his Name, Birthday, Length, and Weight. His "theme" was a mix of cowboy, John Deere, and hunting. Those ideas go together in real life, but design wise, the patterns are hard to deal with. So this is what I came up with.

Thank you! I wanted something brighter and more baby-ish, but his room is all browns and greens.

Anyway it looks wonderful and agree with you for baby it might be a bit brighter but I'm sure it will wonderfully match with baby's room Smiley

Lovely welcome wreath designed. I like the concept of using the wooden gate. Nice idea this is. From where you have got this idea.

Thank you! I knew she wanted a "mum" but I didn't know how to get it to hang on the door, so I figured a wreath hanger would work best. Hobby Lobby had the little farm animals for about .70 cents a piece, so I used them as the farm element for the John Deere part of the room.
