So I want to make fudge and the recipe calls for marshmallow cream... But all I have is marshmallows. I know 1c of minis= 7oz cream, but I am not sure how to make the marshmallows blend with the other ingredients.. Basically the recipe says to heat up half the ingredients, (not including MMs) and then mix those in. Will they melt from the residual heat? Should I microwave them and mix them with the other non-heated ingredients first?

I've had luck using marshmallows by turning them into marshmallow creme. Add a tbs of corn syrup to 2 cups of marshmallows and melt over low heat or using a double boiler. Two cups of marshmallows equal 7 oz of creme.
