Ok, so it turns out it's really hard to take pictures of your own head  Angry  But I wanted to take pictures of me wearing the hat I received from Arryl because anywhere else wouldn't do it justice! I had mentioned that I really liked snoods, so Arryl made me a very elegant snood in red adorned with pearl beads! Please forgive my dorkiness as I try to get decent pictures out of my camera phone. I hate it when I have to include the freaking phone in the picture  Tongue

Thank you so much, Arryl, I love it! I have very long hair, and I've always wanted a hat that I can actually fit it in. This will work perfectly.  Grin

Arryl is having some camera problems, so I'm going to go ahead and post the hat that I sent to her. I made a mini top hat that had interchangeable bands around the middle of it. In the beginning, I couldn't figure out what "theme" to go with for the hat, so I chose three and made it easy to switch between each whenever she felt like it.

The Voodoo theme:

This one was inspired by some polymer clay voodoo dolls that she had on her pintrest, and which I have no where near enough skills to make myself, but I did try and you can barely see it on the right hand side there.

The Victorian theme:

The Steampunk theme:

As you can tell, I had a lot of fun making this thing!

Arryl, great job on the pretty snood. The pearl beads really add a lot.

I like how you made the theme bands interchangeable, Spiffy. I especially love the steampunk one. Super cool.

The hat I received is awesome!  I really need to find an excuse to wear it in public. ^_^  I think the voodoo band is my favorite.  Thanks for posting the pictures, spiffyhink!
