I am sure your daughter was thrilled. That is amazing. I want to see the other ones!

So gorgeous, you make beautiful art. I love the eyes, they are so vibrant and even and proportional (for the style, especially).

Do you prep your surface beforehand? Always curious on the behind-the-scenes parts of artwork.

Thanks so much everyone!! And the wood pieces came prepped, so no primer or anything, but I do varnish it once I have completed the painting! They seem to hold up well!

Love this. Totally creepy cute. You're a great mom. I loved (and still do) when my mom would craft things for me.

I love this style and find it awesome that you took the time to do that for your girl.

Check out that link on Kawasaki wood art. It's creepy and doll-like.
