Wow stuff in the gallery already! Everything is ace and the bar has been set high. I love that Teesha Moore journal it's so pretty. I'd be too intimidated to draw in it.
Nearly ready to send out, so last chance to ask for extras Calixita Wink

Always up for a personal swap Smiley

My package arrived from Miss Barbara today.  Here are the lovelies she sent me:
First up were some farm/garden themed buttons and whimsies to help me decorate the wee house I've got under construction.

A farmer's market journal (I'm a vendor).  I'm certain I'll make good use of this!  A paper mache covered pumpkin bank.  A pumpkin is the one thing I have a hard time growing.  A heart shaped tin with cookies inside (yum) and beavers on the outside.  We collect beaver related things here, they're responsible for our farm name (Missing Willow Farm).  A round globe box filled with painted peg people and some cute tiny animals.

More whimsies and a slate weeping willow wall hanging she made herself using a rubber stamp, she included the stamp for me to use, too.  I already have a project in mind for that stamp.

It's hard to see but the sheep in this hoop are outlined in shiny beads.  The back of the hoop is covered in the strawberry fabric so it's reversible.  She also sent me extras of both fabrics.

Thank you, Miss Barbara.  It was nice getting to know you.   Smiley

Only one more day until send outs and I still have a bit left to do!  I'll have it all done and in the mail by tomorrow though.

I figured, I'd give Karwash a little teaser while she waits for the package... Below is a list of Karwash's facts that I applied to my crafts!  Grin

9. I love musical theatre.
10. My favorite musical is Avenue Q.
21. My favorites colors are grey, purple, and green.
24. I love zombie type movies even foreign ones.
25. My dad has promised to take me to the shooting range to teach me to shoot a gun so I am ready for a zombie apocalypse.
34. I keep my thought organized by writing everything down on yellow legal pads.
85. I love wearing sunglasses and have a hard time going outside without them.
100. http://pinterest.com/karwash/

I hope I hit the mark with everything!

Procrastination is killing me slowly...I'm going to put an end to that first thing tomorrow!

Get ready to be blown away!!!!!  Legatostroke sent me a super package full of spoilage!!!!!

I opened to find so many wonderful items!

1st up were several pieces of jewelry made using favorite colors and items.  Red and black and buttons, a cute button bracelet and matching hair clips

2nd was this dragonfly necklace in silver with accents of teal/purple and fuchsia.  Just look at the sm dragonfly spacers and the main dragonfly charm.  I love it!!!

legatostroke sent me some extras fearing she had made something in a color I did not like.  A plus plus for me, because the item she thought might not be like is loved.
wooden peace buttons and beads in turquoise

Fortune cookies, I love to eat em and collect the fortunes.

Next up is the cutest owl needlebook, something that I collect!

Here is the item that legatostoke thought was in a color I hate, which happens to be grass green.  This fabric is a moss green has the cutest mushrooms on it and was made into a creative mushroom pin cushion.

I collect vintage resin napkin holders and was blown away that there was one packed in my box.  The first photo is the flower napkin legatostoke sent, the 2nd photo has it added to my collection.

I love peace signs and the colors aqua/yellow.  I collect hoopla, and buttons, so what could be better than  a cute hoopla wall hanging made with my colors buttons and a peace sign! This took a while.

Legatostoke also sent me a very informative double sided card about the Heinz Pickle.  This was an advertising ploy along with the story and a pickle pin of my very own.  This is very interesting!

Now legatostoke had asked for photos of my pets.  My babies are both schnauzers.  Bandit is a mini 8 lb brown and white party and Sugar is a 16 lb salt and pepper.  The spoiled brats of the house.  I was amazed at what came wrapped in tissue.  These are so well made, from the fur to the eyes nose coloring how did she do it.  Talk about patience and creativity.  I love them both!!!!

Now its time to grab the tissues.

Alot of you know that I lost my Senegal parrot last Easter.  She was like my child, hand fed and 9 years old.  My mom was in the hospital and I had taken her on the back deck where she loved to sit on her perch.  I did something very stupid!  I went inside to take a shower and go visit my mom.  What I did not do was take paisley back inside.  I was so stressed at the time working mega hours and just making it.  When I came home several hours later Paisley was gone.  I looked and whistled and found her several houses away.  Long story short without a lot of detail after trailing her around the neighborhood for 3 days I knew where she was but never could get her to come to me.  She was not use to being out or flying and would always over fly me and land in a higher tree.  I looked for her daily after work rode through my 500 home neighborhood for months on a daily basis, several hours a day and even more on the weekend, posted flyer's.  I even got a call which turned out not to be Paisley but a found bird I fostered for almost 2 months.  I still have not found her but always look to the sky.  In my heart she has a new home, but it is like losing a 3 year old child.  She was a big part of my life.

At the bottom of my box was this beautiful, so life like memorial to my Paisley.   As I type the lump in my throat grows hard and the tears start to flow, this is a gift that I will treasure always.  Not only is it so realistic, heartfelt and a beautiful work of art it came to me by way of a stranger from a great little site called crafster.

Thank you so much legatostroke you are truly awesome!!!!!!!

Wow!  The parrot portrait is beautiful!  What a fabulous job and such a thoughtful gift!!

My package is now packed and taped up.  I can no longer add any more (not that there was much room, anyways!) and will post it tomorrow.  I wonder how long it will take to reach England?!
