Oh wow, that gear hoop and all the blackwork is AMAZING!  I can't imagine how long that took to make.

(we probably have the only squirrel in Canada that stays fat all winter long!)

Nope, we have a squirrel in Canada that stays fat too! and we named ours - a number of years ago we noticed a squirrel around and started feeding him and then as a family we decided he needed a name but we couldn't agree on what it should be so we all wrote our favorite name on a paper, put them into a hat and pulled one out - his name is Fearless.  This year's is probably Fearless the 8th but as long as one appears every winter he will be Fearless to us.

The blackwork was fun, made me somewhat (more) insane lol, but still fun

OH my goodness!!!!!!!!!!! I don't think I've ever seen such awesome stitching in my life.
The bird hoop that I think is cross stitched is gorgeous!
The gears/blackwork is AMAZING. I can't imagine sitting still long enough to stitch that.  But it's simply amazing.
the cat in the hat is prob one of my most favorites of all - I have 2 neices that are 22 and 19, my daughter is right in between at age 20.  When they were about 7,8, & 10, we named then Cat in the hat, thing 1 and thing 2.  We even dressed them up at halloween.  they still call each other that from time to time.  and oh the messes they would make  Grin

Great job everyone

Will personal swap for ATCs (fabric or paper), Teesha Moore poptarts/pillows and most any kind of embroidery- PM me
