Those koi are fantastic!  Looks just like they are circling in the water.

Ok, so I still haven't had any good daylight hours with Luckdragon's hoop, but I just want folks to know how perfect it is for me.  Grin

First, here it is on my wall...

My kitty art wall! On right right is a collage of my Phoebe cat from a previous swap, and below is a painting from Etsy that is the spitting image of my old cat Cirrus (RIP).

When I opened Luck's package to me, I started crying a bit.  That's how wonderful her hoop is!

Luck took inspiration from a Pinterest item of mine (this embroidery for sale on Etsy: http://www.etsy.com/listing/51453754/tapestry-embroidery-fiber-art-handmade) for the landscape out the hoop window, and my Phoebe cat for the kitty silhouette. But what she didn't know is Cirrus, the first love of my life cat, was a window watcher extraordinaire. So much so that I built him his own special padded window perch that my friends called "The Cirrus Altar".

Here he is on his altar:

And now I have Phoebe, Lover of Little Bouncy Birdies in the Trees Outside:

So Luck's choice of a window kitty is PERFECT for me!  It's such a gorgeous hoop, I can't wait to take some great photos of it when I am finally NOT WORKING and actually at home in the daylight and have found my camera.  Roll Eyes  It's so beautiful, so well done, and everyone who has seen it so far has raved about it!!!!

I adore it, Luckdragon, and I wish you were here so I could smoosh you in a big bear hug to show you how much I love it! (Ok, so maybe YOU are glad you're not here.... LOL)

One last image ... Cirrus looking out the window at me as I left the house to go to work. What a sad sight to see every morning. Hee. (It's a bad photo of a bad Polaroid that a friend took, I still love it though!)

SEE HOW PERFECT LUCKDRAGON'S HOOP IS?!?!?! THANK YOU THANK YOU! (and no stray green thread in the sky when it got here, hee hee)

Sylwa, your satin stitch is fantastic!  Great job!
average-fan: Love the koi fish!  The hand dyed fabric is beautiful!
limeriot: The yellow flowers look so great on the blue striped fabric!

camelama, I'm so glad you love the hoop!  It looks right at home on your kitty wall!  The silhouette came out looking just like that first picture of Cirrus - what a happy coincidence!

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

I've been so quite, but this round has had some of my favorite hoops in it. I haven't seen one that I haven't loved. You all have been amazing as always!

That satin stitch is just pure amazing!! Really lovely hoop and neat pictures, Robin!

I received too!! It's a fun fluffy puppy that looks just like our lab mix, Charlie.

Thank you, mlookyloo!! It was fun swapping with you Smiley.

I received an awesome hoop last week from beccas_song but was sick and didn't get pictures up... I'll have to try and get a picture in daylight.. this photo doesn't do it justice.  It is just really nicely done -- such impeccable stitching!  I love it!  Thanks for the lovely, lovely hoop!
