I saw this post but it was on the knitting board...I can knit but that's it, knit, LOL.

https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=371186.0

So I thought well I can do the same thing with crochet, so I sat down with this:

and an hour later had this.

Close up, just single crochet, pretty simple

Thanks for looking.... now something I pinned that I actually made!  Cheesy

Agreed Smiley I knitted some icord for the dd's headphones to stop the wires snapping so easy, but I knit super slow... Never for one second considered crochet! GREAT idea!!

I want to do this, now. Totally forgot that you can crochet these instead of having to knit them! All sorts of awesome yarns one could use for these. I'm imagining a cute little charm or two.

I have amazing Westone UM1s (4 years strong and still in deep, mad love with them, the only in-ear monitor/headphones you need, ever, buy them, seriously.) They are the spiral-wound three cable headphones without the outer casing so this would be perfect.

ETA: Wow, I sound a bit insane over my headphones. I'm just in love with the amazing sound and fit and long-lasting-ness of them.
