I've been working on this for a couple of weeks now, on and off... I finished stitching the squares together last night after MANY hours (Geesh, I dunno how people do it on a larger scale!) So I decided not to make more squares to make up the size (its only about 3' x2' sh) and to just crochet a border on instead and finish off Smiley But now, looking at the photo I think I'll add more rows on, but for the minute it'll stay as it is because I get super bored quickly :s

It could do with being blocked, but I've nothing to block with on this scale, so advice or suggestions would be hugely appreciated here Cheesy In fact any c&c is always appreciated!! Cheesy Its nothing like some of the gorgeous afghans been done before, but its my first flat project on this scale and I'm quite pleased with my dedication to it!! LOL!

I really like this. It might look better, like you said, if you added maybe another column of black on either side to it but other than that I think it looks fantastic.

This came out great! I can hear the Space Invader "soundtrack" in my head right now. Smiley I love how the old school graphics are a perfect match for crochet block patterns. Perfect color choice, too! And, I agree, when you're up for it, adding a bit to the border will make the image stand out even more.

I think I want one now...

The choices you make today determine the choices you will have tomorrow.

So very awesome. I like that it's done in the squares so that it keeps that original vintage 8 bit look.
