I decided I REALLY had to have a vest; to wear over t-shirts, long sleeved shirts, or any shirt really. So I grabbed a shirt out of the closet that was too small for me and went to work. I removed the sleeves and collar. I hemmed the raw edges and played with pinning the bottom until it looked vest like. Then I stitched and snipped of the excess fabric. Done!

I love vests! I never thought to make one. I'll have to give this a go it's a great idea. I'm going to try my hand at making one out of a sweater.
