A friend of mine likes to browse pinterest and find things he wants to do. He recently lost a lot of weight so he had all these t-shirts that were way to large for him. Most of the shirts had sentimental value so instead of throwing them away he found and idea for a t-shirt quilt and dragged me into the project.

Total time: approx 22 hours?

This was my first time making a quilt so there was a lot of learning involved.

That's really cool! I like the zebra print. Do you think you could upload some more pictures so we could see the shirts? Smiley

I really like how you put them all together. And it is hard to make zebra look manly but you did a great job!!

This is a great idea. I'm going to have to remember to mention to my friend who has quite of bit of band tees that are special to her.  Grin Her tees are old and worn in, so hanging it up on the wall would be a great way to show it off without the worries of anyone or an animal destroying it.

I love this! I keep wanting to make a quilt out of all of my old band T's, your post inspired me to try that again.
