The kids & I had a great time making these based on this tutorial https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=402743.0. The funny animal cookie cutters are from Ikea, irresistible, lol. They're going to sign & date the backs & give them as gifts. We may add some glitter first, fun fun!

how nice they're making gifts!

What's the spiky one next to the snowman in the unpainted picture?  a sun?  a fire?  a porcupine?  one of those dinosaurs with the spiky back?  a turkey?  As you can see, I'm puzzling over it.

I think it's a hedgehog, it's the most baffling one to me too!

Thanks guys!
We used 2 different snowflake stamps, I was a bit hesitant to let the kids actually ink them up but I'll try that some time on my own. They got a bit gunky with dough in the finer parts of the stamps. Painting the ornaments really brought the patterns out, I think even more so if I spray them with sealant. If we have a mild, dry day before gift giving is upon us I'll take them outside and give them a coat Smiley
