I made this for mezcraft in the Ongoing Hoopla Swap.  I was going for a sampler look and that is why I used all different fonts.

Funny story to go along with it - she had asked for a hoop that said I'm silently correcting your grammar and that is exactly what I intended to make.  However, I have always had a 'thing' about using contractions (I do use them but not lots) and without even realizing what I was doing when I planned this out, I automatically made the I'm into I am and was all finished before I realized what I had done.  Thankfully she said it was okay to send still  Smiley

I love it so much! Only I pretty much just go ahead and correct grammar out loud. Is that wrong?

Oh, I love this!! I think, "I am silently proofreading your emails" would be pretty good too.  Not that I do that or anything.  Roll Eyes

I had this saying Pinned, too, and I put as a caption that my sons would say I don't do it silently!  I'm terrible for correcting out loud  Grin

I love this.  My twin 7 year olds went to a speech and language emphasized grade 1 course last year and they correct grammar all the time now, especially the contractions!!! lol, They ALWAYS tell me, "won't isnt a word! Its will not" and I swear I haven't heard them use conjunctions forever!!!  Awesome job!

I absolutely love love quilts, do you think an afghan is a fair trade for a quilt? I'd love to swap!

ha ha I had this saying in my workbasket to make for a person in my family...my hope is that she will get the hint that everyone wishes she would correct grammar silently! Cheesy

I might need to underline the word "silently" Wink

Nice job..it is well done and very neat!

I also think it flows nicer with "I am"...so that was a happy "mistake"...

This is great - both the saying and how well it was done!  Cheesy

I love this. I love cross stitching and correcting grammar. It frustrates me that people think it is condescending just to correct somebody about their speech. Personally, I am offended if people don't correct me because then I am continuing to use a word wrong and everybody is just silently correcting it. I pronounced plethora as pleh-THOR-uh for over a year before somebody corrected me. It was soo mortifying. Ugh.... I also love your font. The I is to die for.
