Hi everyone! This is my first post in the needlework boards because I usually don't do any kind of needlework and I'm mostly a lurker anyway but I had to post this because it's my first cross-stitch project ever and I just love it and I'm really proud of it so I had to post it!!

So I was at the fabric store a couple of months ago and I saw this uber cute turtle cross-stitch kit and I absolutely LOVE turtles so of course I had to buy it. Anyway, I finally got around to starting it this weekend and after working on it on and off for a couple of hours here's the final product:

Sorry for the bad quality pic. I had to take it with my laptop's camera because I'm too lazy to look for my normal camera. But isn't it soooo cute?! Also, I found cross-stitching quite fun...hopefully I'll start making more stuff!! Cheesy

SO adorable!  Makes me want to start cross stitching again...DH would hurt me if I took on something new when I have a closet   (okay, room) full of stuff to finish!

Thanks guys! Smiley

I also have a ton of stuff to finish ... mostly because of school though, because once the semester starts I'm always really busy and when I have a break I almost always start something new but never finish it so I keep on adding to my stuff to finish pile but this winter break I managed to finish a couple of things and this was one of them Cheesy
