I vote for the rainbow. At first I thought black, but when I saw the pics, definiately think rainbow. The black is too heavy and contains it too much, the rainbow lets the colors shine brighter.

I seriously don't think there is a wrong way to do the binding on that quilt...each way just gives a different look...and each look will appeal to people differently...quilts are like real life, aren't they? Wink

The colors just make me happy and the person getting that quilt is going to be so lucky!

I'm STILL waiting for my little Hamster to arrive! I dropped off 2 quilt tops to the quilter, have one almost finished on the binding, one awaiting binding, and another top in the works! I have to do something to keep my mind off the fact that this little girl isn't here yet!  Cheesy

I know that feeling. It makes the days seem so much longer. Craft while you wait, you probably won't be doing too much after she comes. It's much too fun to just sit and cuddle your baby instead of being productive.

It must be tiring to have to wait out those last few days! She will be here before you know it!  At least you are keeping busy until she gets here...like mel said: you will want to be cuddling instead of quilting!

I love frogs and crafting in no particular order.

Congratulations to the new mothers! That is fantastic that you have new little ones in your life. Smiley

I've been a stranger here for a while as I've been busy quilting in anticipation of my move to the new apartment. Yesterday I finally finished the quilting on an overdue wedding quilt for a friend. Only the binding is left to do and I cut it out tonight. Woot! The end is in sight. Smiley Since there is a slim chance she might see this thread (she got me hooked on Craftster) I won't post a picture of the whole quilt. Here is a preview though:

She really likes the color green, jar quilts, and nature. It is super scrappy and I used an allover quilting pattern. I just hope she likes it... Undecided

I like it! It's scrappy, but organized scrappy! Way to incorporate her different interests!
