I've been trying to block a bamboo cable scarf (80% bamboo, 20% wool, Sidar Flirt, pea green, right hand cable, single twist, knit borders) by the wet method and I just unpinned my nice, dry scarf only to have it roll up side to side again!

what am I doing wrong? would I be better off steaming it?!

please help. I so want to show off my work!

You soaked it right...? Maybe it needed to be left longer to dry, so you can redo it again and let it sit quite a while longer. If that doesn't work, try steaming it - carefully. It may be that your stitch pattern is more stockinette and that's going to increase the chance of it rolling.
