Thanks everyone for the nice comments. They were fun to make!! Roll Eyes

"Krismith" Thanks for showing my patches!  Wink When I make a bag, sew all patches together first however you want them, then I just sew by hand, putting the 2 panels together right sides out & pin together & I sew in the same place you did the edges on the patches & a little under the part you turn under. Sew all three sides. Then I make a lining whatever fabric you want & make it a little bigger than the bag & have a least 1/2 " on top clip & put wrong side out inside bag turn down top & fit inside, Put your hand inside & make it go into the corners & pretty even & whip stitch top use same thread or a different color. For handle use strips of fabric to braid a handle or buy one or make more patches long enough to make a handle, could put a pocket in it for cell or glasses etc,
Hope that helps!!! Cheesy

aw crap.  Embarrassed here i am thinking i was so smart and getting on top of the giant pile of pillows i had made. so i set up some personal swaps.
today while pullling fabrics i found 34 more fabrics that wanted to be made into patches...  so. i made 27 more poptarts to embellish tonight.

i dont have a problem... i swear i can stop any time i want.  Grin

Just think of the head start you'll have on the next round - you can search for your partner's likes in your pillow pile instead of the fabric cupboard!
